When you use TariffPilot, we may collect: (a) account information (name, email) via Google OAuth sign-in; (b) usage data including product descriptions submitted for classification, calculation history, and daily usage counts; (c) technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information through standard server logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve our landed-cost calculation service; manage your account and subscription; enforce usage limits per your plan; send transactional emails (e.g., subscription confirmations); and analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Turso (libSQL) with encryption at rest. Authentication tokens and secrets are stored securely and never exposed to client-side code. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: OpenRouter/Anthropic (AI classification), PayPal (payment processing), Google OAuth (authentication), Vercel (hosting), Inngest (background jobs), and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. You can disable analytics cookies through your browser settings.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You may also delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.
