Terms of Service
Last updated: April 15, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TariffPilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
TariffPilot provides AI-powered HS Code classification, tariff lookup, and landed-cost calculation tools for informational purposes. The Service is a decision-support tool and does not constitute legal, tax, or customs advice.
3. Accounts & Subscriptions
Some features require a registered account via Google OAuth. Paid plans are billed monthly through PayPal. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account; your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
4. Usage Limits
Each plan has daily AI classification limits. Non-AI tools (HS lookup, tariff browse, manual calculator) are unlimited and free. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Abuse, automated scraping, or circumventing limits may result in account suspension.
5. Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, HS classifications and tariff rates provided by the Service may contain errors or be outdated. Users are responsible for verifying classifications with relevant customs authorities before making import decisions. TariffPilot is not liable for incorrect classifications or duty calculations.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, and underlying technology are owned by TariffPilot. Tariff data is sourced from publicly available government schedules. You retain ownership of any product descriptions you submit.
7. Limitation of Liability
TariffPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to incorrect duty payments, shipment delays, or customs penalties.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
